I'm not from Iowa, but when I was planning my cross-country road trip, I decided that I wanted to play bingo in as many states as possible. So when I saw that there was a Bingo Hall in Creston, Iowa, I knew that I had to check it out.
The Drive to Creston
Creston is a small town in southwest Iowa, and it took me about two hours to get there from Des Moines. The drive was pretty boring, but when I arrived in Creston, I was surprised by how cute the town was.

I played bingo at the Creston Bingo Hall, which is located in a small strip mall. The Bingo Hall was small, but it was clean and well-organized. There were about 20 people playing bingo when I arrived, and most of them were older women.
I paid $10 for a bingo card, and I was given a dauber and a sheet of paper with the numbers 1-75 on it. I was told to circle the numbers that were called, and the first person to get five in a row won.
I didn't win, but I had a lot of fun. The women who were playing bingo were very friendly, and we chatted in between games. I even won a door prize!
